Avulsion 

الـ Avulsion هو عبارة عن  Complete tooth displacement خارج الـ Socket ويحدث عادةً نتيجة Trauma to the teeth وهذا يؤدي إلى Destruction of the periodontal ligament . 

الـ Avulsed primary teeth يكون من الأفضل عدم ارجاعه الى مكانه في الـ Socket  بسبب امكانية التأثير على صحة ال Permanent tooth germ

أما الـ Permanent tooth فيكون من الافضل عمل Reimplantation and stabilization 

اولا :  Replanted as soon as possible and stabilize the tooth in its position . 

هناك حالات يكون الـ Reimplantation of Avulsed tooth is contraindicated مثل:

• Child’s stage of dental development عندما يكون الـ Alveolar bone في مرحلة النمو مما قد يسبب حصول Ankylosis 

• Some medical conditions 

• The supporting tissues of the avulsed teeth are highly damaged

•  

ثانيا ً :  يجب عمل Flexible splinting for one week

ثالثاً : Tetanus prophylaxis and antibiotic coverage should be considered 

 في مثل هذه الحالات يكون من الأفضل ارجاع السن الى مكانهِ فوراً لنحصل على افضل نتيجة ولكن إذا لم يتم ارجاع السن الى مكانه خلال 5 Minutes فيجب الاحتفاظ بالسن In a medium to help maintain vitality of PDL fibers  ومن هذه الـ Mediums 

• Cold milk 

• Saliva 

• Tissue culture medium 

• Physiological saline

ويزيد خطر الـ Ankylosis عند بقاء السن Dry لأكثر من 15 Minutes .
