Immediate denture

ماهو ال Immediate denture ؟ 

هو عبارة عن طقم Fabricated prior to the extraction of the teeth و يتم وضعه في فم المريض مباشرةً بعد قلع الاسنان .

ويصنف الـ Immediate denture الى : 

اولاً: Conventional immediate denture

في هذا النوع

 The denture is placed after healing is completed حيث يتم بعدها عمل Relining to serve long term 

ثانياً :Interim or transitional immediate denture

هذا النوع يكون مؤقت وهو مصمم To enhance aesthetics , stabilization and function لفترة محددة حيث يتم بعدها استبداله بـ Definitive prosthesis

دواعي استعمال Immediate denture عديدة منها : 

1: Atrophy of bony base . 

2:Damage of the TMJ.

3:Impaired enunciation.

هناك حالات يكون فيها  استعمال الـ  immediate denture ممنوع: 

Diseases of a debilitating nature -1 

مثلا في المرضى الذين يكونون تحت العلاج بالاشعاع في منطقة الرقبة والرأس كذلك في المرضى الذين يعانون من Systemic disease.

2-Multiple extractions يكون ممنوعاً بسبب

Systemic conditions

3-Mental incapacities

4-Indifferent unappreciative patients

5-Extensive bone loss adjacent to remaining teeth.

6-Acute periapical or periodontal pathosis
